We're Hiring for a Wholesale Manager / Trainer

The time has come for us to seek out the most incredible and talented account manager and trainer in the world. That’s right folks, we’re going for gold.

To help support our growing wholesale business we are looking for a coffee genius whose only skill more incredible than their ability to communicate and inspire is their ability to make killer coffee. This is a multi-dimensional and dynamic role which will see you getting involved in many parts of the business. Most of all we’re looking for someone who is passionate about speciality coffee and is super personable. Sound like you? Read on…

You will have experience of making coffee in a professional environment and will excel at all brew techniques. Your coffee knowledge will be advanced and you will have a good understanding of varietals, processing methods, growing regions, QC, and how roasting affects flavour and extraction.

You will also have experience of account management or sales, although this isn’t really a sales role. At Roastworks we don’t really do “sales”. However, you will be confident at approaching new potential accounts, and converting them in to customers. You will have experience of delivering barista training at the highest level and you’ll be expected to devise and deliver a training programme for Roastworks.

Additional skills that would seal the deal are a good working knowledge of current coffee equipment, roasting, machine servicing/engineering, sourcing, and social media management.

Roastworks was founded just two years ago by husband and wife Will & Caroline Little. Since our humble beginnings in the back of someone else’s factory we now operate out of a new 3000 sq ft roastery where we roast coffees that rule of a badass vintage 60kg German drum roaster that we’ve recently refurbished. The objective; to engage more consumers in third-wave, speciality coffee. We are setting ourselves up to fill the gap in quality, full service coffee suppliers in Devon and become one of the leading speciality coffee roasters in the UK.

Remote working will be considered, although you’ll need to be able to travel to Roastworks HQ frequently and whenever necessary. Working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Term – Permanent

Salary – Competitive depending on experience.
