This is from Mexico – an origin we haven’t bought coffee from in years. What we love about this coffee is how balanced it is! There is an even (and very pleasant) mix of acidity, sweetness and body in the cup. This coffee is a delight to drink; with notes of caramel, nuts and a syrupy mouthfeel. It’s a winner with milk!

About This Coffee

We don’t want to sound like we’re blowing our own trumpet but we’re getting pretty good at hitting the taste markers for The Classic coffees in our three-tier range. Like, almost too good. Can anyone else hear trumpets? If you’re new to this range – then you can always bank on The Classic release coffees to be quintessential, sweet on the palate and effortlessly delicious. If you love this, chances are, you’ll love the next one and the one after that too.

This coffee is from Mexico – an origin we haven’t bought coffee from in years. It was grown in a part of Mexico that could have been Guatemala, right on the border. In the 1800’s there were disputes as to which country the land belonged, but these were resolved in 1884 when the border was officially established.

When we thought about describing this coffee – we just kept coming back to how balanced it is. What we mean is that there is an even (and very pleasant) mix of acidity, sweetness and body in the cup. It’s not going to win the award for the most exciting coffee of the year, but that’s not what you’re looking for, is it? This coffee is a delight to drink; with notes of caramel, nuts and a syrupy mouthfeel. Of course, as you’d expect – it’s a winner with milk.
