The Truth

The Truth is our house blend and a timeless classic. We work with two outstanding producers to create a blend that is consistent, balanced, sweet and works great with milk. Our focus is on building long-term and sustainable relationships with our entire supply chain in order to ensure consistency, traceability and great quality. As part of our seasonal adjustments to maintain freshness, we update the components of The Truth blend annually. It rotates from a Brazil/Peru blend to a Brazil/Honduras blend every 6 months.

Brazil Sertaozinho Village:
Unlike the large-scale farms Brazil is known for, this coffee comes from a close-knit group of over 100 smallholders, each farming just 1–2 hectares. In a country dominated by massive mega-farms that undercut the small guys, we wanted to source Brazilian coffee in a way that supports smaller producers and strengthens local communities – and this component is exactly that. In the hills surrounding the village, coffee is carried down steep slopes to shared patios and driveways where families and neighbours work together to dry and sort the harvest. It’s a true community effort. The result is a sweet, silky coffee that adds a syrupy smoothness to the blend and a story we’re proud to be part of.

Honduras Finca Los Ranchitos y Las Anonas:
Grown in the high-altitude hills near Yuscarán, this coffee comes from just over 12 hectares of land shared by father and son Sebastián and Orlin Valladares. The cool nights and misty mornings here slow down cherry development, creating the perfect conditions for rich, complex flavour. Over the past few years, Sebastián and Orlin have focused on improving quality, yields and efficiency across both farms. Their approach is hands-on and thoughtful, with a strong sense of care for the land and the coffee they grow. This lot brings a dense plummy sweetness to the blend, with a sticky texture that holds up beautifully in milk and adds depth to the cup.

1. Use fresh, ideally filtered water. Trust us, it makes a difference.
2. Run a shot through the machine without a capsule to clean and warm up the brew chamber.
3. Insert capsule and press the espresso, or short button. Our capsules have been designed to pour a little slower. This helps extract the most out of the coffee.
4. Now you can get creative. Our capsules taste great on their own or paired with dairy or dairy alt milk, so go ahead and enjoy the way you want!
