We have one recommendation for this coffee. Hold. The. Sugar. Cubes. Or, at least give it a little sip before you spolsh them in your brew. This Colombian coffee is so super sweet, it’s wild! We’re all for drinking coffee how you like, but this one might just surprise you.
This coffee is grown in a region of Huila, in the heart of the Colombian Andes. It’s bordered to the east and west by mountain ranges, and is traversed by the mighty Magdalena River. A quick Google search will have you blown away by the landscape. Caravela coffee importers who sourced this outstanding coffee have been working with growers in the region of Bruselas since the early 2000s. Brew this one up and you’ll get hit with chocolate, caramel and a deeper blackberry note that is super moreish. It’s so sweet and tasty. There’s a very subtle liquorice note which was a treat to uncover when we first tasted this coffee. We love this one with milk. It reminds us of crumble topping – a biscuity, sugary and buttery symphony. Who doesn’t want to drink a coffee that tastes like that?
